Biography

At Pomona-Pitzer: Entering his senior season as a member of the Pomona-Pitzer Men’s Cross Country team…Will also run distance events for the Track and Field team in the spring.

2015: Finished in 35th place at SCIAC Championships with a time of 27:33.03 

High School: Attended Mt. Greylock High School in Williamstown, Massachusetts, where he was a member of the track, cross country and Nordic skiing teams…A three-time All-Berkshire County and All-Western Massachusetts winner...Was the Western Massachusetts runner-up as a junior in 2013...Earned the Most Valuable Runner honor from Mt. Greylock as a junior and senior...Four-time qualifier for states, helping his team to a fourth-place finish as a senior...Team also earned four straight Western Massachusetts championships...Served as a team captain his senior year...Also earned All-Berkshire County honors in track and field as a sophomore, junior and senior, while qualifying for the states in the mile as a senior.

Personal: Attends Pitzer College where he majors in History…Has a younger sister and a younger brother…Hobbies include showshoeing, bird watching and hiking…Favorite athletes are Ben True, Emma Coburn and Evan Jager…Lists Once A Runner and Flowers For Algernon as his favorite books and Dead Poets Society, Prefontaine, and Chariots of Fire as his favorite movies…Chose Pitzer because “when I left Pitzer, I was truly sad to leave. After that, I knew it was the place for me.”
