At Pomona-Pitzer: Completed his second season as a member of the Pomona-Pitzer Men’s Swimming team, where he competes in the breaststroke and the individual medley…SCIAC All-Academic team.

2015-16: SCIAC All-Academic team.

High School: Attended Redwood High School in Larkspur, California, where he was a member of the swimming and water polo teams… Was a three time captain of the Varsity Swim Team and was named team MVP…Qualified for the North Coast Section Meet…Also competed for the Giants as a varsity water polo player where he played two meter defender; was named all-league during his sophomore year; named team's best defensive player…National AP Scholar…Salutatorian… National Hispanic Recognition Program Scholar…Lifetime Member of Redwood High School Honor Society…Lifetime Member of California Scholarship Federation…Also competed for the Marin Pirates swim team, where he was named a team captain and competed at the CA/NV Sectional Meet.

Personal: Attends Pomona College, where he plans to major in mathematics…Has a younger sister…Both parents work in education (mother is a high school history teacher and father is a college administrator)…Hobbies include running, going to art exhibits and reading…Favorite athletes are Kevin Cordes and Tom Wilkens…Favorite book is The Scarlet Letter and favorite movies include Miracle, Good Will Hunting and Midnight in Paris…Chose Pomona “because it is a quality small, liberal arts college, in a great place, with amazing people everywhere you look, and I loved the swim team when I visited.”
