Biography

At Pomona-Pitzer: Entering his third season as a member of the Pomona-Pitzer Men’s Swimming and Diving team, competing in the breaststroke.

2015-16: SCIAC All-Academic team.

 High School: Attended the Community School of Naples (Fla.), where he was a member of the swim team…Scholastic All-America team selection…Qualified for states all four years, finishing in the top eight three times…School record holder…Helped the Seahawks to a third place finish in states in the 200 medley relay (swimming the freestyle leg)…VP of school chapter of Science National Honor Society…National Merit Scholar finalist…President of French Team…Also swam for T2 Aquatics, where he was a two-time sectional attendee and a sectional finalist.

Personal: Attends Pomona College, where he majors in chemistry…Has an older brother and a younger sister…Hobbies include hiking, video games and fishing…Lists The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy as his favorite book, and Lego Movie, Up and Looper as his favorite movies…Plans to attend med school or get a graduate degree after Pomona…Has worked as a concierge at his local hospital…Chose Pomona for the “Small class sizes, ease of access to teachers, and the mix of academics/athletics/other extracurriculars.”
