At Pomona-Pitzer: Completed his third season as a member of the Pomona-Pitzer Men’s Swimming and Diving team, where he competes in the 100-yard and 200-yard breaststroke and the 200-yard individual medley…Ranks third all-time in the 100-yard breaststroke (58.29) and fifth in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:11.01)...Is sixth all-time in the 200 IM (1:58.21).
2014-15: SCIAC All-Academic team...Won the consolation heat in the 100-yard and 200-yard breaststroke at the SCIAC Championships with personal-best times of 58.29 and 2:11.01...Finished 14th in the 200 IM at the SCIAC Championships with a 1:58.21, after ranking 18th following the prelims.
2013-14: SCIAC All-Academic team...Finished in 11th place in the 100-yard breaststroke at SCIAC Championships with a 59.84...Also finished 14th in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:15.94).
2012-13: Helped 200 medley relay team set a then-school record with a 1:34.69 at the SCIAC Championships, good for fourth place...Swam the breaststroke leg of the relay, clocking a 26.33...Came in ninth place in the 100-yard breaststroke at SCIACs, winning the consolation heat with a 58.91, setting a school record at the time, breaking the old mark of 59.11 (Scott Swanson), which had held since 1996...Also swam the third-fastest 200-yard breaststroke in Sagehen annals with a 2:11.72, finishing tenth...Broke 2:00 in the 200 IM at SCIACs, only the seventh swimmer in school history to break that milestone, moving into sixth place with a 1:59.05.
High School: Attended St. Stephens and St. Agnes High School in Alexandria, Virginia, where he was a member of the swimming team…Was an All-Virginia honoree…Finished second in the 100 breast in the states, and seventh in the 200 IM as well..All-IAC (conference) selection…Was a cum laude student, a Potomac Valley Scholar-Athlete and earned the Scholar-Athlete award for his high school class…Also swam for the Curl Burke and Clark Swim Club, where he helped the medley relay team earn second place at the NCSA Junior Nationals, swimming the breaststroke leg…Qualified for the junior nationals in the 100-yard breaststroke.
Personal: Attending Pomona College, where he majors in physics…Hobbies include backpacking, outdoor activities, biking, surfing, snowboarding and playing the violin...Coached summer league team last seven summers.
