CLAREMONT, Calif. —
Lauren Rha of the Pomona-Pitzer women's tennis team was named an Academic All-America Second Team member, College Sports Communicators announced Tuesday.
The CSC Academic All-America Teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in athletics and in the classroom. Nomination for the award requires meeting minimum standards of both athletic participation and cumulative grade point average.
Rha ended the 2025-26 campaign ranked as the No. 16 singles player by ITA and posted an 11-3 overall record in singles play. She reached the quarterfinals of the NCAA Individuals Championship and was named an ITA Singles All-American. The Las Vegas native also earned ITA West Region Senior Player of the Year and SCIAC Athlete of the Year nods. Rha graduated this year with a degree in neuroscience and a 3.758 GPA.
