CLAREMONT, Calif. — The Pomona-Pitzer women's lacrosse coaching staff was named IWLCA West Region Coaching Staff of the Year, announced Wednesday.

Sylvia Queener and Brianf Eisenberg, the Sagehens won their fifth straight SCIAC Regular Season and Tournament Championships in 2026. Pomona-Pitzer cruised to a 17-2 overall record, including a perfect 10-0 in conference play.
The Sagehens reached the NCAA Tournament Round of 16 for the second consecutive season, defeating Sixth Street Rival CMS in the Second Round. Pomona-Pitzer then fell 14-9 to Trinity College in a hard-fought battle.
Eight Sagehens were named All-SCIAC members, including
Shelby Stanton who earned her second straight Defensive Athlete of the Year honors.
Maihue Miranda Wiltberger was named SCIAC Newcomer of the Year while Queener and staff were dubbed Coaching Staff of the Year. Additionally, Stanton and Taylov Glanville were named IWLCA All-America Third Team honorees.
