CLAREMONT, Calif. — Pomona-Pitzer women's tennis' season came to a close Saturday with a 4-0 loss to CMS in the NCAA Tournament Regional Finals.
The Athenas earned the doubles point with a pair of wins on courts No. 1 and 2.
Lauren Rha and
Leticia Bazua Vazquez lost on the top court, 6-1, before
Annique Varty and
Ishya Bhavsar lost 7-6 (7-5) on the second court.
Meha Chaudhary then lost in the first singles match to finish on court three, 6-3, 6-1. Bazua Vazquez then fell in the second court, 6-0, 6-0.
Sofia Kalyva then dropped her match on court five, 6-2, 6-2, as the Athenas sealed the 4-0 overall victory.
The Sagehens finished the 2025-26 campaign with an 11-9 overall record, including a 6-1 mark in SCIAC play.
