NCAA Division III Women's Lacrosse Tournament - First and Second Round Schedule

NCAA First Round - Saturday, May 9, 2026

Ticket Information:

$6 for adults, $3 for seniors and students with ID cards from the host or participating institutions, $2 for children ages three to 12.

How Pomona-Pitzer Got Here

The Pomona-Pitzer lacrosse team (17-1, 10-0) earned its fifth-straight SCIAC Tournament Championship with an 18-10 win over CMS on Saturday at Merritt Field. With the win, the Sagehens earned their fifth consecutive SCIAC Tournament Championship and earn the automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament with a 17-1 overall record. The Sagehens were led in the championship win over CMS by Caili Cross who scored five goals and dished out an assist. Taylor Glanville was named Tournament MVP, scoring three goals in the finals and two in the semis.

How Whitman College Got Here

The Whitman College women's lacrosse team stormed into the history books Sunday, racing past Willamette 10-6 to capture the program's first-ever Northwest Conference Tournament championship at Austin Sports Complex.

The Northwest Conference title was the first tournament or regular season crown for the program. Women's lacrosse was adopted as a conference sport in 2015 and authored its first postseason tournament only in 2024.

How CMS Got Here

The Claremont-Mudd-Scripps women's lacrosse team earned an at-large selection to the NCAA Division III Tournament and will open up on Saturday at 1 p.m. against Whitman at Pomona-Pitzer. CMS enters the NCAA Tournament with a 12-5 record, with all three losses coming to nationally ranked team, including three to Pomona-Pitzer. The other two came to Amherst and the University of Chicago, which both host opening rounds as well.
