Stanton, Glanville Named IWLCA All-America Third Team

CLAREMONT, Calif. — Pomona-Pitzer women's lacrosse's Shelby Stanton and Taylor Glanville have been named 2026 IWLCA Division III Women's All-American Third Team members, the association announced Friday. 
 
Back-to-back SCIAC Defensive Athlete of the Year Stanton helped anchor the Sagehens' back line that ranked 10th nationally in the regular season in scoring defense (5.94 goals allowed per game), 25th in ground balls per game (23.61) and second in scoring margin (10.22). The Mountain Lakes, New Jersey native caused 27 turnovers on the season and picked up 26 ground balls. She scored three goals and had one draw control. 
 
Glanville recorded 39 total points this season with 31 goals and eight assists. She added 39 ground balls, 22 caused turnovers and 27 draw controls. She finished her Sagehen career as the No. 3 career ground ball leader and No. 3 in caused turnovers. The Greenwich, Connecticut native was also named SCIAC Tournament MVP and scored the game-winning buzzer-beating goal against CMS in the NCAA Tournament Second Round.
