CLAREMONT, Calif. – After earning their second SCIAC Tournament Championship in the past three season, the Pomona-Pitzer baseball team is headed back to the NCAA Tournamrnt for their third consecutive season.

The Sagehens will head east to Baltimore, Maryland where they will take on Mary Washington on Friday at 2:30 PM at the host site of Johns Hopkins.  

The Sagehens made their way to the NCAA Tournament with a 31-12 overall record, going 17-7 in SCIAC play, finishing second in the regular season. Pomona-Pitzer went on to sweep their way through the SCIAC Tournament with wins over Redlands (11-1), La Verne (6-5) and CMS in the Championship game (10-8).

Last season, the Sagehens also made it to the Regional Round of the NCAA Tournament where they fell to McMurray University in the final round of Regionals. Pomona-Pitzer will look to get back to the Super Regional round for the first time since 2024, which included a program best in wins and their first ever trip to the Division III College World Series.
