CLAREMONT,CA - Angie Zhou repeats as the CSC Academic All-America® Division III Team Member of the Year and her doubles partner
Marissa Markey earns a spot on the CSC All-America® DIII First Team.
In her senior season,
Angie Zhou maintained a 3.91 GPA majoring in computer science. The three-time SCIAC Player of the Year claimed her second consecutive CSC Academic All-America® Division III Team Member of the Year award. She guided the Sagehens to the 2025 NCAA Division III Tournament Championship and advanced to the Division III doubles semifinals. Zhou went unbeaten in singles during conference play and earned All-America honors for the third time in singles, finishing the regular season ranked No. 4 with 16 wins.
Zhou led the Sagehens to the 2024 NCAA Division III Tournament semifinals and advanced to the second round of the Division III singles competition this season. She was the 2023 NCAA Division III Singles Champion to earn All-America honors for the second time en route to the Division III Tennis Honda Athlete of the Year award. As a freshman in 2022, Zhou was the NCAA Division III Singles runner-up, ITA Rookie of the Year, and All-SCIAC honors.
Marissa Markey also earned herself a spot on the CSC Academic All-America® Division III All-America First Team. She ended her senior season with a 3.99 majoring in psychology.
