BEAUMONT, CA. – The Pomona-Pitzer Men's Golf team opened up their fall season with a fourth place finish at the Redlands Fall Tournament at Tukwet Canyon.
The Sagehens finished in fourth place shooting +11 overall with scores of 294, 287 and 294 trailing Redlands in third, Trinity in second and La Verne who earned the top spot over the weekend.
Leading the way for the Sagehens was
Andrew Lim who got out to a great start to his fall with a third place finish shooting 70, 72 and 70 over his three rounds.
Pomona-Pitzer then had a three-way tie for 14
th overall as
Alexander Oh,
Daniel Lyne, and
John Kim all shared the spot. Oh came away with scores of 70, 75 and 73 while Lyne shot 71, 75, and 72 and Kim shot 75, 70, and 73.
Next for the Sagehens was
Nilay Naik who tied for 18
th overall with scores of 74, 72 and 73 with
Ben Morehead rounding out the top-25 with a tie for 22
nd overall at 76, 75, and 71.
Ending the day for the Sagehens was
Max Rockrohr who tied for 37
th overall with scores of 79, 70 and 78 and
Rhen Lee who tied for 50
th at 79, 75 and 82.
