Attended A.C. Davis High School where he played golf and swam. He was a 2-time State Championship qualifier, 3-time Sporthaus Athletic Convention Award Ceremony nominee, a Sporthaus Athletic Convention Ceremony award winner, Captain and Secretary of the Golf Team.

Attends Pomona College and majors in Molecular Biology.
