DESTIN, FL. – The Pomona-Pitzer Men's Golf team tied for 21
st overall at the Golfweek October Classic this past weekend at Raven Golf Club.
The Sagehens finished with a team score of 883 tied with Averett University in 21
st.
Leading the way for the Sagehens was
John Kim who tied for 44
th overall after he consistently shaved one stroke off his scores for rounds of 73, 72 and 71 for a score of 216.
Nilay Naik finished tied for 68
th overall with scores of 74, 76 and a team-low of 69 in his final round to end with a score of 219.
Alexander Oh also finished inside the top-100 tying for 88
th overall with an 80, 74 and 70, while
Andrew Lim finished just outside the top-100 mark in a tie for 102
nd overall with a 75, 76 and another 75 for a score of 226.
Ending the day for the Sagehens was
Daniel Lyne who shot rounds of 79, 75 and 76 to shoot 230 to end in a tie for 102
nd overall.
The Sagehens will next end their fall season in the Confluence Classic on October 20-21
st at Walla Walla, Washington.
