Ella Endo And Spencer Deutz Earn United Soccer Coaches All-American Honors

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Pomona-Pitzer's Ella Endo and Spencer Deutz earned United Soccer Coaches All-American status for the 2023 season as announced by United Soccer Coaches.
 
The Sagehens added two more All-Americans to their list as Endo and Deutz became the sixth and seventh All-Americans in program history. Endo also became the fourth-straight midfielder to earn All-American honors with Charlotte Tapp in 2022, Emily Tomz in 2021, and Bria VarnBuhler in 2019 (no competition in 2020.
 
 
Endo earned First Team All-American honors as a center midfielder for the Sagehens as well as earning First Team All-West and SCIAC Offensive Player of the Year earlier this season.  Endo was a big attacking threat for Pomona-Pitzer to spark a lot of scoring chances for the Sagehens. She finished the year with 12 points in 18 games coming from five goals and two assists.
 
Deutz also earned All-American honors as an outside back for the Sagehens and captained one of the best defenses in the country while still contributing in the attack with three goals and two assists this season. 
 
The Sagehens finished the season with the first undefeated regular season in program history and ended the year as SCIAC Regular Season Co-Champions, SCIAC Tournament Champions, and an appearance in the Second Round of the NCAA Tournament.
 
This year's All-Americans will be recognized for their accomplishments at the United Soccer Coaches All-America Ceremony & Reception on Saturday, Jan 13, 2024, at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California, in conjunction with the United Soccer Coaches Convention.
