Claremont, Calif. - Pomona-Pitzer's women's volleyball team fell in three straight to Whittier Thursday night in Voelkel Gym. With the loss, the Sagehens fall to 8-9 overall and 3-5 in SCIAC, while Whittier improves to 13-5 and 5-3. Scores were 26-24, 25-21, and 25-18.

Julia Zwaal (pictured) led the Pomona-Pitzer attack with ten kills, while Stephanie Sun added nine kills plus 11 digs. Michelle Schultz talled a team-high 16 digs for the Sagehens.

Pomona-Pitzer travels across Sixth Street Tuesday, Oct. 13 for a 7:30pm SCIAC match against cross-campus rival Claremont-Mudd-Scripps.
