The Pomona-Pitzer men's water polo team went 1-1 this past Saturday, handling Cal Tech 19-8, but falling in a rematch with Chapman University 10-5.

In the two teams previous meeting, the Sagehens won a sudden-death overtime thriller, 10-9, but this time, despite a solid defensive effort, WWPA lead scorer Alex Mulé (Chapman) led his Panthers to the win.

The Sagehens, though disappointed by the loss, will look to learn their lesson and take SCIAC head-on. Scoring for the Sagehens against Chapman were Ryan Balikian (2), Ben Hadley, Jaron Moler, and Mark Hudnall.
