Pomona-Pitzer Athletics

Porter joined Pomona-Pitzer in 2015 as the Director of Athletic Communications and since taken on the role of Associate Athletic Director of Communications and Operations in 2024.

As the Associate Athletic Director of External Operations, Porter oversees all media relations, publications, live streaming, marketing and public relations duties for the 21 Pomona-Pitzer NCAA Division III athletic teams. Porter also oversees the scheduling of all athletic operations of events, home game management, and championship hosting.  

Porter came to Pomona-Pitzer after serving as the Assistant Sports Information Director at the University of Mount Union where he assisted in all facets of sports information for the Purple Raiders and was the primary contact for the men's and women's soccer, men's and women's golf, men's basketball and men's and women's lacrosse teams.

The Youngstown, Ohio native spent four and half years working in the sports information office as an undergrad at Mount Union graduating in December 2014 with a Bachelor's degree in Sport Business. Porter went on to continue his education at Concordia-Irvine where he earned a Master's degree in Athletic Administration.
