Rayna Harrison joins the Pomona Pitzer sports medicine staff as an Assistant Athletic Trainer for the 2026-27 academic year.

Harrison brings more than five years of collegiate athletic training experience to Pomona Pitzer after spending her career at Concordia University Irvine. She joined Concordia in 2020 as a graduate assistant before becoming an Assistant Athletic Trainer in 2022.

At Concordia, Harrison has worked with women's indoor volleyball, cross country, men's indoor volleyball, track and field and other student athletes. In addition to her clinical responsibilities, she has served as the department's concussion coordinator, supervised student interns, worked as a clinical preceptor and overseen inventory and purchasing.

Harrison has also provided travel coverage for professional track athletes through Heartland Track Club.

A 2019 graduate of the University of La Verne, Harrison earned her bachelor’s degree in athletic training. She is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Coaching and Exercise Science at Concordia University Irvine.

Harrison is a Board of Certification certified athletic trainer and a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association and the College Athletic Trainers Society. She is also certified in BLS CPR and has additional training in Safe Space practices, interfaith engagement, diversity and conflict resolution. Harrison is conversational in American Sign Language.
