Pomona-Pitzer Athletics

Josh Carter joined the Pomona-Pitzer staff in the fall of 2024 as an assistant director of athletic communications and operations.

Prior to joining the Sagehens, Josh spent two years as an assistant director of athletic communications at Cal State Fullerton. While there, he handled all media relations, social media, gameday operations and website management responsibilities for the men's basketball, women's volleyball, men's water polo, track and field and cross country programs. 

Josh graduated from BYU in 2021 with a degree in communications and minor in Spanish. He spent two seasons working in the athletic communications office there, including as a sports information director for the women's basketball and men's and women's golf programs. After graduating, he spent a year and a half working full time as a public relations specialist for clients operating in the advertising technology space. 

Josh and his wife, Montse, currently reside in Placentia.
