Diamante NKielo joins Pomona-Pitzer in 2024 as the department’s Academic Coordinator.
NKielo previously served Pomona College as an Administrator for the Office of Alumni and Family Engagement, managing the college’s relationships with incoming students, graduating classes, alumni, parents, and other constituents, and supporting the planning and execution of campus signature events.
Prior to joining Pomona College, NKielo served as a private language instructor and student success coach to multilingual students and student-athletes for 10+ years. Then, NKielo integrated Upland Unified School District as an academic support to the Special Ed department and its neurodiverse learners, and later as a secretary of operations supporting event planning initiatives, and managing school-based administrative and operational processes for the Athletics/ PE and English departments.
A native of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, NKielo graduated from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Design, and went on to earn a Master’s Degree in Educa??on from Moreland University.
