Andrew Gonzalez graduated from Arizona State University in 2023 with a degree in Sport Science and Performance Programming and a minor in Nutrition. Between undergraduate and graduate school, Andrew worked as a strength and conditioning coach at a charter school, training student-athletes ages 12–18 and gaining valuable experience in athletic development and performance.
In May 2026, Andrew earned his Master of Science in Athletic Training from California Baptist University. His clinical experience included placements at Riverside City College, California Baptist University, and UCLA, where he developed skills in injury evaluation, rehabilitation, and comprehensive athlete care. Immediately following graduation, he traveled to the Dominican Republic to work with the Chicago Cubs organization, further expanding his experience in professional baseball.
Through his clinical and professional experiences, Andrew has developed a strong interest in overhead athletes, with an emphasis on the upper kinetic chain and its role in athletic performance, injury prevention, and rehabilitation. His experience includes assisting with rehabilitation programs, conducting injury evaluations, and managing the overall care of athletes.
Andrew is a Board of Certification–certified Athletic Trainer committed to continued professional development and evidence-based athlete care. He plans to pursue the Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES) certifications to further integrate athletic training, rehabilitation, and performance development into his practice.
