CLAREMONT, CA. – Battling the rainy conditions at Strehle Track, the Pomona-Pitzer Women's Track & Field Team excelled in their conference meet of the season as they outscored Whittier College 92.5 to 64.5 and beat Caltech 103-40. "We competed very well," said Head Coach Kirk Reynolds. "Our top aim was to have each team member contribute to our overall team performance, and we did so very well. We weren't concerned with marks as much as individual placings today, and we came away with two team victories."
