  • Pomona-Pitzer Swim & Dive Earn CSCAA Scholar All-America
    June 25, 2019
    The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association (CSCAA) named the Pomona-Pitzer men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams to its Scholar All-America team for the Spring 2019 Semester. This honor is given to the every collegiate swim and dive program that has earned above a 3.00 team GPA.
  • Maddie Kauahi Named Google Cloud Academic All-District

    CLAREMONT, CA.- Maddie Kauahi of the Pomona-Pitzer Women’s Swim & Dive program was named to the 2018-19 Google Cloud Academic All-District Team by CoSIDA after her combined success in the pool and the classroom this past season.
  • Swim & Dive: Sagehens Conclude NCAA With Both Men and Women In Top-15

    The Pomona-Pitzer Swim & Dive Program concluded their run at the NCAA Championship on a high note, notching three All-American honors, while the Men's team finished in 11th with 139.50 points and the women took seventh with 143 points. It was the second straight year the Sagehens had both the men and women finish within the top-15 together.
  • Swim & Dive: Men's and Women's Finish Day 3 Within Top-10

    The Pomona-Pitzer Swim & Dive program saw both men’s and women’s teams reach the top-10 in the standings after day three of the NCAA Swim & Dive Championship in the Greensboro Aquatics Center. The Sagehens saw their women’s team in seventh after amassing 120 points while the men sit in 10th with 101 points.

  • Swim & Dive: Women's 200 Medley Relay Team Take 4th In NCAA Day One

    The Pomona-Pitzer Swim & Dive program got off to a solid start in day one the NCAA Swim & Dive National Championship in Greensboro, North Carolina at the Greensboro Aquatic Center as the men’s side finished tied for ninth with 30 points while the women are in eighth at 37 points.
  • Women's Swim & Dive: No. 9 Sagehens Look To Make A Splash At NCAA

    The Pomona-Pitzer Women’s Swim & Dive program will be sending eight athletes to the 2019 NCAA Swimming & Diving Championship held in the Greensboro Aquatics Center in Greensboro, North Carolina from Wednesday, March 20 to Saturday, March 23.
  • Swim & Dive: Stern Earns Podium Spot At NCAA Regional

    The divers of the Pomona-Pitzer Swim & Dive program completed their season in the second day of NCAA Diving Regional as Ruby Epstein had a solid performance in the women’s 1-meter dive while Jem Stern took the podium in the men’s 3-meter.  
  • Swim & Dive: Sagehens Compete at Day 1 of NCAA Diving Regionals

    The four diving representatives of the Pomona-Pitzer Swim & Dive program competed at the NCAA Division III Regional Meet on Friday afternoon as Ruby Epstein competed in the Women’s 3-Meter Dive and Jem Stern, Ben Willett, and Bilguun Altantulkhuur competed in the men’s 1-Meter.
  • Women's Swim & Dive: Pomona-Pitzer Clinches Third Title In Four Years

    The Pomona-Pitzer Women’s Swim & Dive repeated as SCIAC Champions, winning their third title in four years. After taking back the lead after the third night, the Sagehens did everything in their power to comfortably hold the lead until the end of the night. They finished with 1114.5 meet points, 43 more than second-place Claremont-Mudd-Scripps.

    The Pomona-PItzer Women’s Swim & Dive Team climbed back to first place in the standings in day 3 of the SCIAC Swim Championship on Saturday night. After taking first place in three events, the Sagehens accumulated 791 meet points, just 32 more than cross-street rival Claremont-Mudd-Scripps who sits in second.

  • Emma van der Veen Wins Second In 3-Meter Championship

    Emma van der Veen took home her fourth career All-SCIAC Honors after finishing in second place in the 3-Meter Dive on Sunday afternoon at the SCIAC Dive Championship. The sophomore scored 441.95 in the final round after putting up 428.50 in the preliminary round.

    The Pomona-Pitzer Dive athletes will be competing for a SCIAC Championship at Haldeman Pool this Saturday and Sunday, February 16th and 17th. After a successful showing by both the men's and women's team throughout the regular season, including a couple program records, the Sagehens are ready to take the big prize this weekend.

The event started off with some Senior Day festivities as they Sagehens took some time to honor the graduating seniors in the program for their hard work and commitment to the program.

    The Sixth Street Rivalry Meet did not end as the Pomona-Pitzer Women’s Swim & Dive Team had hoped, taking a close 195-158 loss against Claremont-Mudd-Scripps on Saturday afternoon. The Sagehens swam well as six different athletes broke the NCAA B Cut in five different events.
  • Women's Swim & Dive: Day 1 Of Sixth Street Dual Meet Ends In Close Finish

    The Pomona-Pitzer Women’s Swim & Dive team were neck-and-neck with cross-street rival Claremont-Mudd-Scripps at the Sixth Street Rivalry Dual Meet, ending the first day fairly close at Axelrood Pool. Day 1 ended with the Athenas holding a 60 to 46 lead over the Sagehens.

    The Pomona-Pitzer Women’s Swim & Dive team remain undefeated in their conference dual meets, taking down University of Redlands 233 to 56 on Saturday afternoon. The Sagehens took first place in all 16 events and showcased their talented depth to collect more points. Anna Newman and Alex Werner impressed at the meet, taking first place in two events.

    The Pomona-Pitzer Women’s Swim & Dive team came away with a solid victory at a SCIAC Tri-Meet against Whittier College and Occidental College on Saturday morning. The Sagehens took first place in nine events, outscoring the Poets 172-73 and the Tigers 159-95.
