Anna Haaksma enters her first season as an assistant coach for the Pomona-Pitzer Swim and Dive program.
In 2023 Haaksma coached as an assistant coach for University High School. This past summer was her fourth season as a Head Coach for the Portola Spring Storms in the Irvine swim League.
Anna is an alumnus of Biola University. She swam for Biola’s swim team all 4 years earning second team all American in Division 2 in 2022. Anna primarily focused on Breaststroke and IM where she was a top 8 finisher all 4 years in the 100 and 200 breaststroke. In 2021 she helped the Eagles win PCSC for the first time in history. She was also named PCSC swimmer of the week in 2019 and 2023. She graduated with a bachelors in kinesiology and now works as an account manager for Pacific Medical.
Haaksma grew up in Colorado where she swam for the Denver Hilltoppers and later moved to Michigan where she attended and swam for Grand Rapids Christian and a YMCA club team.
