Men's Track and Field: Andy Reischling and Danny Rosen Earn All-American Honors

GENEVA, OH. – The Pomona-Pitzer Men's Track and Field team added two more All-Americans in freshman Danny Rosen and sophomore Andy Reischling on Saturday afternoon at the SPIRE Institute.

Rosen started out the day with a comeback performance in the steeplechase as the freshman closed out the final leg of the race passing up runners to finish in 8th place and earn All-American honors with a time of 9:16.28. Rosen ends his freshman year with All-American honors, All-West Region honors and was SCIAC Newcomer of the Year as he took first place in the Steeplechase at the SCIAC Championships.

Reischling started out with a good lead in at the start of the 5,000 meter run and fought for position throughout the majority of the race. Reischling maintained his high position in the final leg of the race and earned an 8th place finish with a time of 14:36.50 to earn All-American status in his first trip to the NCAA National Championships.

Reischling ends his second collegiate season as an All-American, All-West Region selection and an All-SCIAC selection after he became a SCIAC Champion for winning the 5,000 meter run.  

After the conclusion of day three, the Sagehens end the year with three All-Americans in Calvin Aylward, Danny Rosen and Andy Reischling
