Menkhoff Wins Second SCIAC Athlete of the Week

Lukas Ming Menkhoff earned his second SCIAC Athlete of the Week after a record-setting performance at the final meet of the regular season. The freshman clocked a Haldeman pool record in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 20.86 and swam to an NCAA 'B' Cut time of 44.98 in the first leg of the 400-yard freestyle relay. He also powered to a first place time of 55.59 in the 100-yard breaststroke as the Sagehens earned wins against Caltech (218-64) and Cal Lutheran (184-97) to secure a 7-1 overall record against league competition. 

The Sagehens are preparing for the SCIAC Championship in Commerce, California, which begins on February 21st and ends on the 24th.
