LAS VEGAS, NV. – The Pomona-Pitzer Men's Golf Team finished 13th overall at the Las Vegas Desert Classic on Tuesday after playing three rounds starting on Sunday. The Sagehens recorded 928 total strokes, finishing ahead of Southern New Hampshire and Whittier College. West Florida took first at 839 strokes.
Owen Rosebeck led the Sagehens on the course, finishing tied for 53rd with 227 strokes. He scored 75 in the first round before hitting 76 in the second and final round. Conor Rooney placed tied for 61st after scoring 78 in the final day. He scored 78 on the first day and 74 in the second for a total of 230.
Jack Carrigan finished tied for 70th, scoring 80 in the first round and 78 in the second day. He scored 78 in the third round for a total score of 236.
Alan Tom placed tied for 74th, scoring 84 in the first round and 76 in the second. In the final round, he scored 83 for a total of 243.
Jeremy Burton finished tied for 78th, shooting 92 in the first day and 73 in the second. He scored 80 in the final day for a total score of 245.
