Biography

At Pomona-Pitzer: Entering his senior season as a member of the Pomona-Pitzer Men’s Track and Field team, where he runs in the middle distance events.

2016: SCIAC All-Academic team.

2015: Finished in 12th place (of 28) at the SCIAC Championships in the 800 meters with a time of 1:57.86...Had a personal best time of 1:56.48 during the regular season.

High School: Attended William Fremd High School in Palatine, Illinois, where he was a member of the cross country and track teams, earning varsity letters all four years…Earned all-conference honors as a junior and senior in cross country, qualifying for the states as a senior when he served as a team captain…Three-time state qualifier in the 4x800 meter relay and qualified as an individual in the 800 meters as a senior with a 1:56.71…Had a personal best in the three-mile of 15:06.52 and in the 5K of 15:38.10…Graduated with a 4.0 GPA, was an AP Scholar with Distinction and received the 6th Congressional District Excellence Award.

Personal: Attends Pomona College, where he majors in neuroscience…Has a younger brother…Favorite books include To Kill A Mockingbird and The Kite Runner, while favorite movie is Insidious…Has volunteered for over 11 years with HAVE Dreams (Helping Autistic Voices Emerge).
