Pomona-Pitzer Athletics

At Pomona-Pitzer: Completed his second season as a member of the Pomona-Pitzer Men’s Track and Field team, where he competes in the middle distance events.

2016: SCIAC All-Academic team.

2014-15: Finished in 11th place at the SCIAC Championships in the 800 meters with a 1:56.54, chopping 2.5 seconds off his personal best time during the regular season.

High School: Attended Crescenta Valley High School, where he was a member of the cross country, baseball and track and field teams…Won the league title in the 800 meters in 2013…Helped the cross country team to a fifth place finish in the CIF finals in 2013, earning a bid to states…Has personal bests of 14:45 for 3 miles, 4:21 for 1600 meters and 1:56.13 in the 800…Earned scholar-athlete honors all four years…Highest varsity GPA in 2013 for the cross country team.

Personal: Attends Pomona College…Has a younger sister…Hobbies include playing the guitar, going to the beach, watching/making movies, sports and Frisbee…Favorite athletes are Derek Jeter and Nick Symmonds…Lists The Other Guys and Inception as his favorite movies…Chose Pomona because “it felt like a comfortable environment where I could pursue my goals and become my best, athletically and academically.”
