Biography
At Pomona-Pitzer: Entering his senior season as a member of the Pomona-Pitzer Men’s Swimming and Diving team…Ranks ninth in school history in the 200 breast with a 2:13.60.
2014-15: Finished 14th at the SCIAC Championships in the 200-yard breaststroke with a 2:13.60, which moved him into the top 10 in school history (ninth)...Also 15th at SCIACs in the 100-yard breaststroke with a 1:00.73.
High School: Attended Coronado High School in Colorado Springs, where he was a member of the swimming team… Placed at State all 4 years…State champion and new state record 200 free relay as a junior… CAA…Team MVP Senior Year…Salutatorian and a four-year member of the Academic State team…Also swam for the CSST club team.
Personal: Attends Pomona College…Has two brothers and two sisters…Older brother, Devon, is a member of the Sagehens Swimming and Diving team, while older sister, Kara, was a diver at Ithaca College…Older sister Kali is a Pomona graduate (Class of 2012)…Hobbies include reading, hiking and skiing…Favorite books are Keys to the Kingdom and the Harry Potter series…Chose Pomona because “it was my favorite school that I applied to.”
