Coach McLellan will begin his fifth year as the Head Diving Coach for the Sagehens this year. He is also coaching SoCal Divers alongside four-time Olympic coach, Scott Reich. McLellan also coaches Golden West College under Mark Schubert, eight-time U.S. Olympic Swimming Coach. For the past five seasons, McLellan has also coached Chapman University producing three NCAA qualifiers and a double conference champion in the past two years.  Prior to college and club, McLellan coached Marina High School in Huntington Beach where his team was league champions and had multiple NISCA Diving All-Americans. While at Marina, McLellan was chosen for the selection committee for NISCA All Americans in Springboard diving.

As a diver, McLellan dove in college on a full scholarship to Broward College in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. McLellan was a high school and college All-American before entering entrepreneurship and starting a family in Southern California. McLellan now resides in Costa Mesa with his wife and two children.
