At Pomona-Pitzer: Completed his third season as a member of the Pomona-Pitzer Men’s Cross Country team…also ran for the track team in the spring in the middle distance and distance events…
2015: Finished in 35th place at the NCAA Division III Nationals with a time of 25:08.10... Finished in 7th place at NCAA Division III Regionals with a time of 25:55.49 and took 11th at the SCIAC Championships with a time of 26:22.71.
2014: First-team All-SCIAC...All-Region...Finished in fifth place at the SCIAC Championships with a 26:15.87...Was 14th at the NCAA West Regionals with a 25:58.9 to earn all-region honors...Came in 125th place at nationals with a 25:30.3, third-best on the Sagehens.
High School: Attended Marin Academy in San Rafael, California, where he was a member of the cross country, track and field, lacrosse and soccer teams…A first-team all-section winner for three years…Earned fifth and sixth place finishes at the California State Cross Country meet…Helped the Wildcats to a second place finish in the states in 2013…League and sectional champion in the 3200 meters as a senior…Earned cum laude honors.
Personal: Attends Pomona College where he majors in Mathematics…Has two older sisters, one of whom is a professional ballroom dancer…Father John swam for two years at Stanford…Hobbies include skiing, cooking, swimming and biking…Michael Jordan is his favorite athlete…Serves as an assistant coach with the Marin Waves track club…Chose Pomona for “the benefits of a small school coupled with the resources of the consortium.
