At Pomona-Pitzer: Completed her junior season as a member of the Pomona-Pitzer Women’s Swimming and Diving team, where she competes primarily in the sprint freestyle events (50 and 100)…2013-14: SCIAC All-Academic team...Swam a 55.97 in the 100 at the SCIAC Championships and a 2:00.88 in the 200...2012-13: Earned a top 10 finish at the SCIAC Championships in the 100 free with a 54.47, good for tenth place...Helped the 200 freestyle relay team to a school record 1:37.72, good for a second-place finish...High School: Attended Miramonte High School in Orinda, where she was a member of the swimming team for four years…Elected captain for two years…A two-time second-team all-league selection (along with one honorable mention selection)…Three-time NISCA All-American…Four-time top 10 record holder at Miramonte…National Merit Commended Scholar and a CSF Lifetime member…Also swam for the Orinda Aquatics, serving as a team captain and earning a sectionals qualification…Also was a Coaches Award winner with the Orinda Aquatics…Personal: Attending Pomona College, where she majors in media studies with a minor in psychology…Has an older brother, Sean, who competed on the swim team at Yale, and a younger brother…Lists Nathan Adrian as her favorite athlete…Volunteered as a swim coach for a Special Olympics swim team, the Lamorinda Sea Serpents...Interened in the summer (2015) in New York at Greatist, a health and fitness startup, and made videos for their website...Spent the summer of 2014 beginning her study abroad adventure in Melbourne, Australia ("in the dead of their winter...").
