Biography

At Pomona-Pitzer: Entering his fourth season as a member of the Pomona-Pitzer Men's Tennis team.

2017-18: Went 1-1 in singles...Finished in round of 32 at Fall ITA Tournament...Went 11-11 in doubles

2016-17: Avery Bicks competed in No. 2 and 3 doubles and No. 6 singles...Went 7-3 in singles and 11-13 in doubles

High School: Attended Collegiate High School where he played tennis, baseball and basketball. He was a member of the tennis team for all four years of high school. Captain of the Varsity Tennis team senior year, helping the team win the first Ivy League title since 1995. Went undefeated senior year. Received First Team All Ivy League Honors all four years. Recipient of the Gene Scott Award for Sportsmanship.

Personal: Attends Pomona College... Has  volunteered at the Harlem Junior Tennis and Education program. Program brings tennis to high-risk Harlem youth, offering opportunities for self-development with an emphasis on education His dad (Peter Bicks) played tennis for Pomona.
