VENTURA, Calif. — Pomona-Pitzer women's golf tied for second place at the CA State Intercollegiate at Olivas Links, closing the two-round tournament at nine-over par.

Annabelle Chan led the Sagehens individually, tying for first place at three-under par. Chan finished the tournament with an even-par opening round before firing a three-under in the final round. Riley Wang followed with a fifth-place finish at even par, posting a two-over 74 in the second round after opening with a two-under.

Rachel LeMay finished tied for ninth at five-over par, while Eunice Yi tied for 17th at nine-over. LeMay carded an even-par final round, while Yi finished with a five-over second round. Ellena Jeong rounded out Pomona-Pitzer's scoring lineup with a tied-for-36th finish at 18-over par.

The Sagehens finished tied for second with UC Santa Cruz at nine-over par, just eight strokes behind tournament champion Claremont-Mudd-Scripps. Pomona-Pitzer carded a seven-over 295 in the opening round before finishing with a two-over 290 in the second and final round.
