CHATTANOOGA, TN. — The Pomona-Pitzer men's tennis team will be represented at the NCAA Division III Individual Championships as Drew Goldman earned a selection to the singles tournament while also qualifying for doubles competition alongside Jay Mallampati.
The NCAA Division III Individual Championships will take place in Chattanooga from Saturday, May 23 through Tuesday, May 2. Goldman enters the singles championship ranked No. 12 nationally and carries a 20-9 overall singles record into the tournament following a strong season competing at the top of the Sagehens lineup.
In doubles competition, Goldman and Mallampati enter the national championship ranked No. 4 in Division III after posting a 20-11 overall record together this season. The NCAA Individual Championships feature a 32-player singles bracket and a 16-team doubles bracket, with national champions crowned at the conclusion of the four-day event in Chattanooga.
