CLAREMONT, Calif. — Francesca Coppo was named a CSC Academic All-America Third Team member, announced Tuesday. 
 
The 2025-26 Academic All-America Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving Teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the pool and in the classroom. Student-athletes must meet minimum standards in athletic participation and cumulative grade point average to be recognized. 
 
Coppo won the 50 free at the SCIAC Championships this season, while also finishing second in the 100 breast and fourth in the 100 free. She was also part of the winning 200 free relay, 400 free relay and 400 medley relay teams at the conference championships. 
 
The Amsterdam native also competed at the NCAA Championships, where she finished eighth in the 50 free to earn All-American honors. She also finished third in the 400 free relay, fourth in the 200 free relay and 16th in the 400 medley relay at nationals. 
 
Pomona-Pitzer won its third consecutive SCIAC Championship this season and finished 8th at the NCAA Championships.
