ARCADIA, Calif. —
Ken Cremers claimed medalist honors to lead Pomona-Pitzer men's golf to a runner-up team finish Saturday at the SCIAC Championships.
Cremers carded a two-under 69 in round three Saturday, equaling his round-two score and sealing a nine-under showing at the three-day tournament. He finished one stroke ahead of Samson Li of CMS and carded five birdies on the day.
John Kim followed in a tie for seventh after posting a three-under 68 Saturday to earn All-SCIAC honors. He posted four birdies and just one bogey in round three.
Aidan McGreen and
William Zhuang both finished in a tie for 16th place. McGreen carded a three-over 74 Saturday while Zhuang notched a six-over 77.
Alexander Oh rounded out the men's squad with a 77 (+6) in round three, finishing in a tie for 31st.
As a team, the Sagehens finished in second place at a combined three-under par. CMS (-23) won the tournament while Occidental and Chapman finished in a tie for third at 12-over par.
