AZUSA, Calif. — Pomona-Pitzer men's track and field wrapped up competition at the Bryan Clay Invitational Saturday.
Pomona-Pitzer's 4x100m relay team came within 0.06 seconds of tying the program record, clocking a 40.75 to finish second.

Harrison Brown and
Gavin Doig composed the team, which now stands among the top five in current NCAA Division III rankings in that event.
JT Bard finished 18th in the 800m Open A, racing a personal-best time of 1:50.36 which is good for fifth all-time in program history.
Jack Stein finished 22nd in the 10000m Open A with a personal-best time of 30:09.74, good for seventh all-time in program history.
In the evening 1500m races,
Peter Neid clocked a strong personal best of 3:49.56 to finish 17th in the Open B section, while teammate JT Bard - doubling back after his earlier 800m - ran a personal best 3:51.79. Both runners stand among the top 25 on the National lists.
William Marquart placed fourth in the invitational shot put with a mark of 55'5" / 16.89m. He also took 11th in the javelin invitational after throwing for 168'9" / 51.45m.
Matthew Yen finished 22nd in the long jump with a personal-best mark of 22'9.75" / 6.95m.
Ezra Satran followed in 41st with a 21'4.75" / 6.52m.
