INDIANAPOLIS — Pomona-Pitzer women's swim and dive featured four individual and one team relay All-American honors Thursday on day two of the NCAA Swim and Dive Championships.
Nina Aballea finished fifth in the championship final of the 200-yard free after clocking a 1:49.85 to earn All-American accolades.
Ellie Burkhardt finished eighth in the same race, coming in at 1:52.76.
Francesca Coppo,
Sabrina Wang, Burkhardt and
Chesna Pelka then swam a 1:32.04 in the 200-yard free relay championship final to place fourth.
Pelka raced a 1:51.52 in the 200-yard free consolation final to earn an honorable mention All-America nod.
Bennett Jones swam a 4:24.03 in the consolation final of the 400-yard IM to also earn honorable mention accolades.
As a team, the Sagehens sit in 7th place after day two with a total of 91 points.
