Men's Swim and Dive Wins Fourth SCIAC Championship

MONTEREY PARK, Calif. — Pomona-Pitzer men's swim and dive claimed its fourth SCIAC Championship in program history Saturday and third since 2018. 
 
The Sagehens posted two individual wins and a relay victory on day four to close out the conference championships. Jack Christy secured gold in the 200-yard backstroke, clocking a 1:49.26 in the final. Diego Hodge took second with a 1:49.34 while Max Yeoh finished third with a 1:50.21 to secure the Sagehen podium sweep. 
 
Henry Cannon then won the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 45.16. Casey Jacobs took third with a 45.41. The Sagehens' 400-yard free relay team closed the day with a victory, as Nathan Xu, Adrian Clement, Jacobs and Cannon clocked a 2:58.60.
 
As a team, Pomona-Pitzer finished with 922 points to claim its fourth SCIAC title in program history. CMS took second (820.5) and Chapman finished third (609). 
 
Tommy Matheis was tabbed SCIAC Diver of the Year following the meet for the second consecutive season.
