CLAREMONT, Calif. — Pomona-Pitzer men's cross country won its 27th SCIAC title in program history, including the sixth in a row, Friday morning at the Pomona-Pitzer Campus Course.

The Sagehens held off Sixth Street Rival CMS for the team title, totaling 33 points to the Stags' 39. Pomona-Pitzer's five scoring runners placed third, sixth, seventh, eighth and ninth.

Tiernan Colby led the charge for the Sagehens with a third-place individual finish, clocking a personal-best 8k time of 24:53.4. Pomona-Pitzer then had four runners place 6th-9th individually, with Peter Neid finishing sixth after racing a 25:18.1. Connor Spellman took seventh with a 25:19.4.
