PALM DESERT, Calif. — Pomona-Pitzer women's golf opened its fall season with a team win over Chapman Sunday at Desert Willow Golf Resort. The Sagehens finished at a combined 10-over par while Chapman posted a +38.
First year
Lisa Chu led all golfers with a one-under 71, posting three birdies and just one bogey on the day.
Ann Zhao followed in second place overall with a two-over 74, while
Riley Wang tied for fourth with a 76 (+4).
Ottavia Lombardo also finished T4 with a four-over 76.
Annabelle Chan and
Eunice Yi both carded a 77 (+5) to tie for sixth individually.
Federica Domecq Lacroze earned a seven-over 79 while
Malia Loo finished at 11-over. Competing as individuals,
Ellena Jeong posted a 78 (+6) and
Kashish Malik tallied an 81 (+9).
Up Next: Pomona-Pitzer will return to Palm Desert this weekend to compete in the NCAA Fall Preview Sept. 13-14.
