CLAREMONT, Calif. — Cameron Hatler was named an Academic All-America First Team member for cross country and track and field, the College Sports Communicators announced Wednesday. 
 
Hatler led the Sagehen men's cross country team in the fall with an eighth place finish at the NCAA Championships, earning All-American honors with a time of 24:17.5. He also placed second at both the NCAA West Regionals and SCIAC Championships. 
 
In the spring, Hatler also earned All-American honors at the NCAA Track and Field Championships in the 10,000m with a career-best time of 29:33.86. Additionally, Hatler won the 5000m at the SCIAC Championships with a time of 14:38.17 and the 3000m steeplechase with an 8:59.54.
