CLAREMONT, Calif. — Pomona-Pitzer finished No. 15 in the Learfield Directors' Cup standings for the 2024-25 season.
The final standing is tied for the Sagehens' second highest in program history, and marks the third time in four years Pomona-Pitzer has finished inside the top-15.
The Learfield Directors' Cup was developed as a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and USA Today. Points are awarded based on each institution's finish in NCAA Championships.
Women's tennis finished the year as the national runner-up after advancing to the NCAA Championship game in May. Men's cross country finished third at the NCAA Championships in November. Women's swimming & diving took eighth while men's track and field tied for ninth at the NCAA Championships in May to highlight Sagehen teams that finished in the top 10 in NCAA Championships.
Men's tennis, swimming & diving, baseball, football and golf all qualified for as a team or had individuals compete in NCAA Championship postseason events, as well as women's cross country, golf, lacrosse, soccer and track & field.
Though not NCAA sponsored, women's water polo won the USA Water Polo National Championship for the fourth consecutive season in May.
