GENEVA, OH. -- With four All-American finishes, Pomona-Pitzer's men's Track & Field team finished tied for ninth place at the 2025 NCAA Division III National Championships.
Quinn White shined with two second-place finishes in the 1500 meters and 5000 meters. The sophomore clocked 3:49.49 to take the runner-up spot after leading the race from the starting gun. White returned in the 5000 meter and ran back in the pack early before moving up with three laps to go and working into second place on the homestretch of the final lap. White ran 14:15.04. Teammate
Cameron Hatler finished 10th in 14:20.11.
Senior
Oscar Roering ran in the top four in lap one of the 800 meter final, and gamely battled down the homestretch of lap two to finish in sixth place – his first All-American honor in his third year at the National meet.
Earlier on Thursday, senior Hatler took sixth in the 10,000 meters for Pomona-Pitzer's fourth All-American plaque.
The team finish is the highest since 2007 (8
th place).
On the women's side, junior Ella Bowers competed in the Triple Jump, finishing 18
thin 38'5 1/2" (11.72 meters) in her first trip to the national meet.
