GENEVA, OH. -- Senior
Oscar Roering qualified to the 800 meter final Friday at the 2025 NCAA Track & Field National Championships in Geneva, Ohio. Roering took third in his preliminary heat in 1:51.27 to advance as a time qualifier – but as the fourth-fastest runner of the day. Nine runners will contest the final, with the top-8 earning All American honors. Roering's personal best of 1:49.50 came during April 12 Pomona-Pitzer Invite at home.
On Saturday, the Sagehens feature Roering in the 800 meters, plus
Quinn White in the 1500 meter final,
Cameron Hatler in the 5000 meter final, and Ella Bowers in the Triple Jump final.
