GENEVA, OH. -- Senior
Cameron Hatler finished sixth place in the 10,000 meter event to earn All-American honors Thursday at the 2025 NCAA Division III National Track & Field Championships in Geneva, Ohio. Hatler clocked 29:33.86 to set a program record and SCIAC record in only his second attempt at the distance this spring.
Hatler started off in 16th place early in the race before moving up into 11th by halfway and then 10
th for most of the second half of the race – just outside All-American status (top-8). But in the last two laps, Hatler turned on the jets and passed two more runners – including a 60.69 final 400 meters, the fastest in the entire field – to move into All-American position.
Hatler will return to race the 5000 meter championship final on Saturday. Hatler's 10k time Thursday eclipsed the previous program record of 29:41.10 set by
Derek Fearon in 2024, and bettered the previous SCIAC record of 29:39.55 set by TK Berhe of La Verne in 2023. Hatler previously earned All-American honors in the Steeplechase (7th in 2024). Hatler qualified to Nationals with his 29:52.14 time from the Mike Fanelli Classic on April 4.

Quinn White won his heat of the 1500 meters to qualify to Saturday's final. White ran 3:50.77 to win Heat 2. Teammate Jeff Wright ran 3:56.00 in Heat 1 to finish in a non-qualifying seventh place in his inaugural season as a Sagehen.

Oscar Roering toes the 800 meter starting line Friday to attempt to qualify for Saturday's final, while junior Ella Bowers contests the Triple Jump on Saturday.
