LOS ANGELES, Calif. — Pomona-Pitzer women's track and field earned a fourth-place team finish at the 2025 SCIAC Track & Field Championships.
In total, Pomona-Pitzer finished with 113 points, behind first place CMS (200), Chapman (196) and Redlands (120). The Sagehens secured one individual event win in the 800m by way of
Olivia Reichle.
Reichle cruised to a time of 2:17.12 en route to winning the 800m. The senior won the event by 0.65 seconds and raced the eighth fastest time in program history.
Eva Novy-Hildesley placed sixth with a time of 2:21.17.
The Sagehens set a pair of program records at the conference championships. In the 4x100m,
Olivia Richards, Reichle,
Kensi Binstadt and Kat Kirkpatrick raced a program record time of 47.54 to finish second. The squad bested their own previous meet record set earlier this season. Kirkpatrick also broke her own program record in the 200m, racing a 24.80 to place second. She also tied her own program record of 12.19 in the 100m prelims, going on to race a 12.32 in the finals to place third.
Fiona Bodkin placed third in the 3000m steeplechase with a time of 11:04.49. Her mark is the second fastest in program history. Bodkin also earned a podium finish in the 5000m, racing a 17:36.49 to place second.
In the javelin,
Logan Spoonemore finished second with a throw of 39.27m. Her mark is the seventh furthest in program history.
Caiya Niewinski finished fourth with a throw of 35.23m.
